Blondey McCoy's see-through adidas Superstar release announced

By the end of this July, British model/skateboarder/designer Blondey McCoy announced that she had collaborated with adidas on creating a transparent sneaker, the adidas Superstar 80s by Blondey. Photos had also appeared, both in leaks and officially released by adidas, but there was no news of the release. On Sunday, December 8th, however, Blondey announced via an Instagram post that adidas Superstars will be available starting Saturday, December 14th at a retail price of 100$.

The adidas Superstar is experiencing a real renaissance this year, having been chosen, in addition to this collaboration, also for the highly publicized partnership with Prada. In this model, the transparent upper of the sneaker is composed of polyurethane and bears the golden inscription "Blondey" on the sides. The hems, laces, tongue and classic adidas side stripes are made of leather and identical to those of a normal Superstar while the tip and rubber sole are dark brown.
