The RETROSUPERFUTURE / Vault by Vans collection

RETROSUPERFUTURE continues to give life to very interesting collaborations. After the sunglasses line that celebrated the opening of Starbuck's Reserve in Milan and the recent collaboration with One Block Down, the brand has decided to join forces with Vault by Vans for its first collection that, in addition to sunglasses, includes a sneaker and a long-sleeved t-shirt.

Trait d’union of each piece is a palette based on the contrast between classic colors and neon shades, in particular, khaki is coupled with an acid green and black with a vibrant purple. The same color contrasts characterize the two versions of OG Style 43 XL by Vans, the real must-have of the capsule. The sneaker maintains the classic canvas construction but mixes it with the suede on the toebox of the shoe to give the design an elegant touch of strength. The all-white or black upper acquires a playful twist thanks to the semi-transparent green and purple soles, embellished with the RETROSUPERFUTURE branding, which embellishes the sides, the front and the tongue of the shoe.

The new version of RSF Smile, inspired by classic street icons, features a unique 90s design, with a low profile and thick temples, combined with purple or lime lenses and a black or khaki acetate crystal. The look is completed by graphic writings on the outside of the frame.

The last item of the capsule is a long-sleeved tee in premium quality cotton with printed rubberized graphic details.

As a commitment to highlighting and celebrating women's creativity in fashion and street culture, RSF and Vans worked closely with emerging filmmaker Agostina Galvez and independent hip-hop artist Chynna.
