All the new sneakers from the London Men's Fashion Week catwalks

Yesterday London Men's Fashion Week came to an end, this year more than ever was oriented towards utilitarianism thanks to technical accessories and details, along with a great number of new sneakers. Between fresh new silhouettes and revisited classics, London wanted to experiment with materials, shapes and colours, making sneakers the essential accessory even for the seasons to come. 

We at nss magazine have decided to gather the 6 best sneakers spotted on the London catwalks. Pick your favourite. 

 

Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS

It's the fifth time that the Bulgarian-born,  London-based designer has collaborated with ASICS. This time, though, the two have worked from scratch, giving life to an unprecedented silhouette. The shoe is characterized by a Flytefoam sole, floral thread and curled toe, and it was reiterated in different colourways, from total black, to white and green, to yellow and light blue. 

 

Liam Hodges x Ellesse 

We did not see this collaboration coming (and to be honest we could have done without it). The one spotted on the catwalk is a chunky sneaker, halfway between a Fornarina Up! and an Acne Studios Manhattan. The extra touch is the pink details, both on the upper and on the laces. 

 

Studio ALCH x Nike

It could not be otherwise since the brand directed by @miniswoosh is an offshoot of the sportswear giant. Throughout the collection, a perfect mix of sporty and technical items, as well as vests, chest bags and bucket hats made with Patta, the models sported Nike Shox sneakers, in only two versions, white and black. 

 

Craig Green x adidas

Craig Green has decided to collaborate with adidas on its Kamanda model. The retro-inspired but innovative silhouette was brought to the catwalk in a number of different versions, in green and yellow hues, and even in a model with a grey scaly looking upper. 

 

A-COLD-WALL* x Converse

This was the sneaker that surprised the most, and that took Instagram by storm. Samuel Ross' brand, after the success of the collaborations with Nike, this time has opted for a hiking-inspired boot made together with Converse. 

 

Feng Chen Wang x Converse 

The partnership between the Chinese designer and Converse continues, always with layering, inserts and overlapping, on an icon like the Chuck Taylor, this time designed in white and military green leather.
