Alessandro Michele has once again chosen Harry Styles as the face of Gucci's Men's Tailoring Pre-Fall 2019 campaign.

The pop star is portrayed by director Harmony Korine, author of the latest lookbooks of the Tuscan brand and of a limited edition book to be published at the end of May, among pigs, swans, statues and antique furniture. In this atmosphere between Grey Gardens and Wes Anderson vibrations that confirm Michele's love for the ancient culture, Styles wears a modern formal wardrobe, tailoring clothes in the eclectic style that has become synonymous with the Maison, in a unique combination of patterns, colours and decorations.

As Harry Lambert, the British artist's stylist told Miss Vogue right before the Met Gala during which Harry wore a series of eccentric Gucci pieces, the musician is about to enter a new fashion chapter, as the anticipation for his second solo album grows.

“It’s time to try something new and hopefully shock and inspire in a different way. I know the fans love his outfits, so hopefully they will love what’s to come. There’s less of the floral suits that dominated the early campaigns and his tour looks, with now more of a focus on a mash-up of eclectic pieces coming together.”

Is the new Gucci campaign a sign of Styles' new stylistic direction?
