The lookbook of the Diesel Red Tag x Gr Uniforma collection Designed by Gosha Rubchinskiy

After Shayne Oliver and Glenn Martens, it's up to Gosha Rubchinskiy and his new label Gr Uniforma reinvent the DNA of Renzo Rosso's brand in the third chapter of Diesel Red Tag.

The result is a selection of over 70 pieces, a sort of "pseudo-uniform" created by the designer for a hypothetical "Opera". The inspiration mixes elements from Gosha's cultural background such as the Russian avant-garde of the early 20th century embodied by artists such as El Lissitzky, Kazimir Malevich, Vsevolod Meyerhold and Igor Stravinsky, with a more contemporary touch given by workwear, utility wear and denim silhouettes of the 90s.

Denim is an important part of the wardrobe of youth today. I remember myself as a teenager in the late Nineties and it was the same. It was the time of Diesel’s first bright and strong advertising campaigns and the brand’s first shop in Moscow. It was a dream for me to own Diesel denim. Now dreams have come true! - Gosha Rubchinskiy

To this iconic Diesel item Gosha gives new degraded shades and angular patchwork treatments also on jackets, workwear and pants. From jeans and canvas sneakers to tank tops, from boxing shorts to workwear boilersuits, everything is available in white, black and red.

The Diesel Red Tag x Gr Uniforma collection is the embodiment of a new type of Gesamtkunstwerk, that is a "total art form" (in recent weeks Gosha had revealed that his new brand would be mixed-media) and for this reason it was presented in preview with a special performance event, in the new Diesel pop-up store recently opened in Berlin in Torstraße 67, where the capsule collection will be on sale until next May 25.

All the pieces of the capsule will then be available in selected Diesel stores around the world and on diesel.com, at Dover Street Market stores, at Comme des Garçons stores, and through a network of carefully selected retailers - including Selfridges in London and KM20a Moscow - developed by Tomorrow, Diesel's partner for the Red Tag project.
