DJ Honey Dijon and Comme Des Garçons announce partnership One of fashion's most iconic DJ's joins forces with the Japanese label

Earlier this week, it was announced that Comme des Garçons has joined hands in partnership with one of fashion’s most iconic DJ’s Honey Dijon on the launch of a new fashion label called Honey Fucking Dijon.

Dijon expressed her excitement for the partnership in an Instagram post captioned:

“As a trans woman of colour I’d never imagined that this would be possible. Thank you @adrianjoffe @commedesgarcons for allowing me to represent my culture, community and love of house music. I am truly honoured."

In fashion, the masterminds behind the turntables at runways and events don’t always get the recognition they deserve. However, Honey Dijon has managed to make a name for herself by working with some of the icons of the industry. For the past seven years, the DJ has been doing the tracks for Kim Jones’ Louis Vuitton menswear shows and has continued her journey with the designer during his reassignment at Dior. She is also pals with designer Riccardo Tisci, Naomi Campbell and has worked alongside fashion photographer Steven Meisel on a Prada campaign.

So the DJ is no stranger to the world of fashion, and she will be bringing this experience to her Comme Des Garçons collaboration. The first collection is expected to be presented this summer and will include a selection of bags and T-Shirts.
