Quentin Tarantino's top 10 most stylish outfits From the yellow tracksuit of Kill Bill to Reservoir dogs killers in dark suits

Today Quentin Tarantino turns 56.
Iconic, eccentric, avid cinephile, the American director has always divided the public between those who madly love his films and those who find them only a jumble of violence and cinema and pop quotes. Whether you are on one side or the other it is impossible to deny that his characters have some of the most iconic looks of all time. From Uma Thurman wearing white shirt and black pants for Pulp Fiction or in a yellow jumpsuit for Kill Bill to the killers in suits of Reservoir dogs, from Brad Pitt & Co. in Inglourious Basterds to Samuel L. Jackson's hat in Jackie Browne they all have images with irresistible charm and recognizability that has crossed the Hollywood boundaries to camp on t-shirts and every accessory possible. To celebrate Quentin's birthday, we chose 10 iconic looks seen in his works.

Mia Wallace - Pulp Fiction

Probably the most iconic character of Tarantino, played by his favorite muse, Uma Thurman. That raven bob, brick-red lipstick, white men's shirt, black trousers have entered the history of cinema and pop culture.

Beatrix Kiddo – Kill Bill

The Bride's total yellow suit was produced by Mooto, a Korean sporting goods brand and is inspired by the one worn by Bruce Lee in Game of Death, a film left unfinished due to the actor's death on July 20, 1973. Black Mamba shoes are the Onitsuka Tiger Tai Chi model with interesting detail on the sole: the word "Fuck U".

Elle Driver – Kill Bill

Blond, sophisticated, merciless and vindictive, Elle Driver is the coolest member, in addition to Beatrix, of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. Daryl Hannah, who became famous here after the golden age of the 80s, is beautiful in every look, but our favorite is the monochromatic trench coat.

Reservoir Dogs

The most elegant group of cinema robbers. Quentin Tarantino's debut with a feature film also marks the beginning of a love for the black suit with white shirt, also in a female version, continued in several subsequent movies from Pulp Fiction to Kill Bill.

Vincent Vega & Jules Winnfield – Pulp Fiction

John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson aka Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, two very stylish killers. Their dark suits have gone down in history, but we have a special passion for the "dorks" version in t-shirts and shorts. Special mention for Jules' wallet with the inscription "BAD MOTHER FUCKER" (available on Amazon).

Django - Django Unchained

Among the many wonderful costumes present in the films of Tarantino, who can forget the blue valet style suit worn by Jamie Foxx? The inspiration for that outfit comes from Blue Boy, an oil painting by the English painter Thomas Gainsborough from 1770.

Hans Landa - Inglourious Basterds

As in all Tarantino's films, the costumes of this project are wonderful. Only one character cannot be chosen, the most perfect is the one in uniform and long leather coat flaunted by Cristoph Waltz.

Stuntman Mike – Grindhouse - Death Proof

Before Ryan Gosling in Drive was the silver-colored jacket by Kurt Russell. Amazon sells an exact reproduction.

Ordell Robbie – Jackie Brown

A movie. An ode to the Kangol flat hat.

Rick Dalton & Cliff Booth - Once upon a time in Hollywood

It will arrive in Italian cinemas only in September, but Tarantino's latest work promises to be full of interesting looks. The few quick images confirm this. Do you prefer the Wrangler denim version and the yellow Hawaiian shirt (a bit Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ) wearing by Brad Pitt or the one with the leather jacket of Leonardo DiCaprio
