The new Air Max 98/95 made by Sgamo and DCJ An hybrid Nike to celebrate the upcoming Air Max Day

Alessandro "Sgamo" Nuzzo is a Milanese DJ and producer, a huge fan of Nike and in particular of Air Max. He has thought of a special way to celebrate the Air Max Day, the next March 26th, the day when in 1987, was released the first sneaker with a visible Air unit, the Air Max 1. The project, carried out a few months ago together with DCJ laboratory of Jacopo De Carli and Goghi, consists of a sole swapping of the Air Max 98, in the 2014 Volt release, with the Air Max 95 sole. The intent was to recreate the design of the girl sizes of the AM98 OG, which combined these two components in a hybrid model.

The shoe was previewed in a video published on the Barengo Streetwear YouTube channel, which also shows some phases of DCJ's work, such as the separation of the sole and the elimination of the Air unit from the 98. Despite the difficulty in matching 2 shoes with a very different design, the result of the Air Max "SGAMO" 98/95 Volt is extraordinary. The bar for custom games still rises.
