Paris Fashion Week FW19 Moodboard The inspirations directly from the catwalks

Tradition. Heritage. Roots. These are the keywords of this recently completed Paris Fashion Week. The designers, from Celine to Saint Laurent, look back at their past, reworking history and know how to re-adapt it to the present. The result is a new Parisienne as defined by Demna Gvasalia, commenting on her latest collection for Balenciaga, a strong woman who does not renounce to tailoring clothes, but who, at the same time, is rooted in her contemporary, on the street. And if you go back on the catwalk then it must be why not play a bit '? Louis Vuitton does it with his mash-up between 80s New Romantics and the protagonists of Heathers, Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior with her Teddy Girls and Sarah Burton by Alexander McQueen, which recalls the War of the Roses of the XXV century. Honorable mention for the declaration of love brought to scene by Valentino and from Undercover's homage to Luca Guadagnino's Suspiria. Finally, it is impossible not to mention Chanel and the first show after the death of Karl Lagerfeld, a collection set in a winter wonderland that tells a unique talent, between the tears of models, front row and anyone who loved the fashion of Kaiser Karl.
