Milan Men's Fashion Week FW19 Moodboard

The inspirations directly from the catwalks

Milan Men's Fashion Week FW19 Moodboard The inspirations directly from the catwalks

4 days, 27 fashion shows and 14 presentations. Milan Fashion Week dedicated to menswear for the next FW19 is like the flash of old cameras: it lasts a moment, but blinds you. Quick and intense. Yeah, because many designers in this extended weekend have tried to monopolize our look blinding us with mix'n match of prints and neon colors. To achieve the goal, Versace fused Gianni's heritage with the 90s bondage and kids clubs; the Dsquared2 twins have tried to bring on the catwalk rockstar miming Def Leppard and Ac/Dc, but have a weakness for the details of the skiwear; while Marni has relied on our boyish and dreamer with graphics inspired by the 1976 animated film Allegro Non Troppo by Bruno Bozzetto, a sort of parody of the most famous Fantasy by Walt Disney. There are also those who prefer to attract more discreetly. This is the case with Sunnei normcore, of the cosmopolitan elegance of Ermenegildo Zegna, of the dualism between classicism and futurism of Fendi, of the refined re-elaboration by N°21 of the cult of Rainer Werner Fassbinder Querelle de Brest and is surely the same philosophy followed by Prada by its Frankenstein, a romantic monster, with a heart of gold. 4 days, 27 fashion shows and 14 presentations. A flash of inspiration. Which designer do you think has transported us to an alternative and beautiful dimension, moving away, even for a moment, from the banality of everyday life?
