Burberry unveils the collaboration with Vivenne Westwood A super British capsule with the iconic Kate Moss

After the announcement of last July, today have finally been unveiled the images of the advertising campaign for the collaboration between Burberry and Vivienne Westwood. In the shots by David Sims, Kate Moss and some of the coolest guys in London like Josh Quinton, Andy Bradin and Riccardo Tisci's favourite model, Claudia Lavendar show the collection, a series of pieces from the historical archive of Westwood revisited according to check-addicted aesthetics of the brand led by the Italian designer. It is easy to recognize some of the iconic silhouettes created by the Dame of fashion, such as the wool mini-skirt, part of the FW94 show, Anglomania; a silk shirt and a matching tie, originally worn by Naomi Campbell; the classic double-breasted jackets or the men's jacket; the beret. All remixed with Burberry's heritage. The result is a combination of punk and tradition, perhaps more "harmless" than many have hoped for, that, however, does not forget social commitment.

The heart of the collection, in fact, is a very special T-shirt (plus four others that will be auctioned off) with the handwritten phrase by Westwood: "Cool Earth has a plan to save the rainforest”, a reference to the non-profit organization working with rainforest communities to stop deforestation and climate change, to which part of the proceeds of the capsules will be donated.

The garments of the partnership between Tisci and Westwood are already available online and at selected Burberry stores worldwide.
