The FILA's revenge

D-ANTIDOTE X FILA conquers the Seoul Fashion Week The FILA's revenge

Over the last three years Italian sportswear brand FILA has made a huge comeback within the industry of fashion. As a brand which mainly peaked during the 80’s and 90’s, they had experienced a bit of a rough period where the hype around the brand faded. However recently the brand’s team seems to have been making all the right moves in an effort to get the label back on the millennial radar.

From their first ever runway show in Milan which occurred in September to collaborations with New York based athleisure brand Bandier, Italian luxury brand Fendi and most recently seen down the runway of Seoul Fashion Week, their partnership with South Korean streetwear brand D-ANTIDOTE. The collection title The Storm & The Stress presented a line of pieces inspired by the 1997 Korean gangster movie BEAT. The SS19 collection showcased a palette of bright neon colors, pastel hues and of course the FILA shade of blue. Accessories included fanny packs, suspenders and logo branded belts and socks.

FILA’s strategically curated moves in broadening revenue with collaborations and partnerships leaves them with an eager audience at their feet waiting to see what will happen next.
