Prada presents Cloudbust Landing 2

Prada’s Cloudbust Landing Project continues to explore young metropolitan cultures through the lens of three emerging photographers to the backdrop of three new cities Shanghai, Fukuoka and London, the unconventional identity and design of the Cloudbust sneakers. A collaboration with Photo Vogue, the photographic platform launched by Vogue.it, Prada has selected three talented photographers to reveal, through their own unique viewpoints the identity of the Cloudbust sneakers. Each of them was assigned a different theme and city and asked to develop three stories through the images, using a narrative with a strong and recognizable style and atmosphere: The Open City, The Intimate City and The City After Hours.

"The Intimate City" by Kenta Nakamura

The Intimate City is set in Fukuoka, Japan where, within intimate and private spaces, Kenta Nakamura immortalizes a group of young friends with photos and spontaneous shots. Symbols of individuality in a big city, the Cloudbust sneakers take the focus with their fluorescent colors becoming an integral part of the group itself.

"The Open City" by Shuwei Liu

To tell the story of The Open City, photographer Shuwei Liu chooses an original underground approach in Shanghai, capturing a group of young friends around public spaces of a city with a strong urban and contemporary identity. The Cloudbust sneakers with their bright colors and futuristic design become the protagonists of the authentic and dynamic shots, as well as an essential accessory for living in the city.

"The City After Hours" by Clara Nebeling

With The City After Hours, the focus shifts to London, with the natural perspective of photographer Clara Nebeling. The images of her reportage follow a group of friends who explore the city at night, showing parks, open markets all by night, in clubs, roof terraces, and underground settings. With their unique design and vibrant fluorescent colors, the Cloudbust sneakers stand out against the dark background of the city like colored lights that illuminate the night.
