New York, as usual, opens the dance to what will be the most feared fashion issue of the year. The woman will be the real protagonist, ready to capture everyone's eyes by parading on the main catwalks of the world, armed only with the highly anticipated SS19.

It is impossible to deny the hard blow that the New York fashion week has been suffering during the last seasons. Some of the hottest labels that could boast, from Alexander Wang to Narciso Rodriguez, have decided to give up the traditional September show and opt for a showroom presentation or for an union between the main collection and pre-collection (like Wang) to show only in June-December. Fashion is always faster, but there are those who still want to stop for a moment this chaotic world and give it 15 minutes of beauty by staging trends and art together.

Eyes on NYC, or rather, on the 3 most awaited shows of this SS19. Here's what you can not miss out.

#1 Calvin Klein - September 11th, 8:00 pm

The podium goes to CK for two reasons:

1. This brand has definitely put down the gas pedal in terms of innovation, advertising strategy and adaptation. Adaptation to today's world, to Millennials and the needs of fashion. The public needs comfortable garments, but distinguishable between the mass, and the details of MyCalvins jeans, seams, washes, the CK denim total look are recognizable from a mile away.

2. The American brand remains faithful to its roots, does not abandon the New York catwalk and continues to pay homage to its country again and again - as evidenced by the latest Together in denim campaign where the models juggle a structure that remind  the flag of the United States -.

What should we expect from this SS19? Definitely coordinated look, mom fit jeans, some of the most famous top models of our times (like Miss Kendall along with Kaia Gerber) and, considering the recent passion of the brand for the natural and rural settings, a super green catwalk, simple but cared in the smallest details. Behind all this there is the wizard of the implicit messages and one of the greatest perfectionists of our time: Raf Simons.

#2 Fenty - September 11th, 1:00 pm

Riri will show her Savage x Fenty lingerie line on Tuesday. Two years have passed since the last New York catwalk signed Fenty x Puma, the super-fitting sportswear, with its super-warm hardwearing leather jumpsuits, had been talking for months about the Rihanna's revolution. The R&B star seems to be setting up a super sexy catwalk in Brooklyn, while the other fashion shows will be in Manhattan.

What should we expect? There will be models that will reflect the principles of Fenty in their aesthetics and beauty way: large space to the shapes, models from all the continents, from Asian girls to African ones. A real tribute to the woman, this is what Fenty x Savage will pay homage to.

#3 Proenza Schouler - 10 September, 4:00 pm

After two seasons spent in the city of love, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez will return to New York for the SS19.

"NY will always be home" have declared the designers. "Paris was an amazing opportunity to attend the Proenza Schouler show and on that level, as well as on a creative level, felt really right. "

What should we expect? Different materials, asymmetrical lengths, elegance and femininity. But what triggers more questions is undoubtedly the reference to the SS14, SS16 and SS17 that the duo is doing in the last hours on the brand's IG profile. A #tb that seems suspicious to us. What will it mean? We'll have to wait until Monday to find out.
