Prada Linea Rossa: fluorescent colors, strength and freedom The brand breaks the mold by mixing sportswear, luxury and technical clothing

Miuccia Prada was one of the very first who pioneered the way to the obsession of sports fashion among the big name brands.

At the end of the '90s Prada, with its Sports Line, broke the mold by mixing sportswear, luxury, and technical clothing, starting a trend that seems destined to never end, rather, on the contrary, become more and more widespread and powerful. Just look at the success and career of designers like Kim Jones or Riccardo Tisci for confirmation.

For some time now Prada's Sports line has been on standby but is now ready to return as cool as ever.

After the renewed commitment to the American's cup, including its merchandise, and the creation of the Cloudbust sneakers, the Italian brand is ready to revive the cult of its "old" line. A return ratified during the last fashion week dedicated to the FW18 season and celebrated in a special editorial by I-D Magazine.

The shots taken by Daniel Jackson highlight the power of the collection, with vibrant fluorescent colors to accentuate the technical nylon padded garments with embedded tags, the bows and fringes, which, on the catwalk, the Milanese designer alternated with cocktail dresses, oversized coats, suit in bouclé fabrics, trousers and bustiers in heavy wool.

The nocturnal background, which makes the clothes shine, even more, is a link to Mrs. Miuccia's words, which, tell of the inspiration for the collection:

"When I design a collection I think of a moment, a thought. In this particular collection I wanted to imagine the night as a synonym of adventure and freedom."

The result? Reiterated with style the right of every woman to wear what she wants.
