The main men's fashion week have left us a few weeks ago, London, New York, Milan and Paris made us fall in love with the catwalks of the greatest and most influential designers of our day, but there are cities that follow the steps of the big fashion capitals and for a moment omitting the ever more "giants of the East" like Seoul and Tokyo, it's time to shift our attention to Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Founded in 2006 following the union of two Danish fairs, the Dansk Modeuge and the Dansk Herremodeuge, which boast a history dating back to the 1950s, the CFW is the result of the initiative of Danish National talent Institute. The event that takes place twice a year in February and in August, involves members of national and international fashion, including shows, exhibitions and presentations, welcome tourists and fashionistas from all over the world, looking for the new Kim Jones.

This same curiosity pushed us to go in search of the diamonds of the Danish capital, ready to immerse ourselves in this reality that it is often put aside or not considered enough. We present a special Copenhagen fashion guide, to lead you to discover the city, all the secrets and hidden street treasures.

Best Shop

REZETSTORE - Rådhusstræde 7

Welcome to the first Made in Denmark sneaker museum. The minimal location, the perfect arrangement of furniture and items, reminds us exactly the den of a sneakerhead, everything is exactly taken care of and the shoes are positioned as real small works of art. The balance and the hype dominate undisputed.

FLAVOUR - Skindergade 19

What do we love of this store? The wall of sneakers, built with boxes positioned with strategy based on the brand and color.

Street machine - Kronprinsensgade 3

The notoriety of this skate shop is not limited only to Copenhagen but to the whole world. Founded in 1989 in Paris, it took root in the Danish capital in '96 and then become an icon of street culture. In 2015 Street machine also had the opportunity to collaborate with Vans for a special capsule collection of minimal, black & white mesh sneakers.

HYPETRADE - Badstuestræde 17

This concept comes to life between Aarhus and Copenhagen. The name already explains everything.

Designer to discover: Henrik Vibskov

Graduate at Central Saint Martins, this Danish designer loves to play with shapes and colors. His collections seem paintings in which tribal lines and designs find their balance and acquire life thanks to bright and impactfull nuances.
