Jonathan Anderson shifts the toy world into obsession for artistic collecting and craftsmanship and use these inspirations to reinterpret the Converse Chuck 70.
The iconic sneaker acquires a "Gloss" version in patent leather inspired by Ron Nagle's ceramics and sculptures.
Features? Bright colors (Kumquat/Cherry Red/Red Blue Radiance, Mountain View/Jolly/Heron, Heron/Coral Pink/Blazing Yellow, Pink Mist/Barley Volt/Antiqua Sand), nuanced paint upper, semi-transparent sole and soft oversized sponge laces that resemble San Francisco's typical Victorian houses colors.
The Converse x JW Anderson Chuck 70 Toy will be released July 19 on Converse website and in selected stores (in Italy, Antonioli and SlamJam). The output price of the Chuck 70 high is 150 €, the low of 140 €.
Simultaneously with the release of the Toy Collection, Converse x JWA launch, for 110.00 €, new colorways for the iconic Grid collection: white, black and newest one, red.
