New York Women's Fashion Week FW18 Moodboard

Coco Chanel once said: "Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening."

Together with the clothes, it is the ideas that are the protagonists of the Fashion Week.

The days dedicated to the style of tomorrow are the mirror of the designers minds. They are artworks, movies, music, people, the facts that they have lived, breathed and awakened their creativity.

So the NYFW during which the collections were presented for the FW18 brought on the catwalk different worlds and often very distant from each other, but always special: Transformers-like robots, popcorn fields, pink carnation meadows, gospels, character clones of "Matrix", 80s colored teddy-bears, references to Big Apple’s architecture, sophisticated sculptures by Isamu Noguchi, tributes to the Indian activists of the Gulabi Gang, ...
