Sneakers To Release This Week - From September 29 to October 1st Collabos and homages

Some analysts state that hype around sneakers and streetwear is becoming so diffused it will actually hit the critical point, then slowly die. Even if now we feel far from the death of hype, the resell market already shows that something is going wrong. That because of a large crowd of buyers and sellers, only buys and sells for the sake of profit. Not everyone is able to profit from reselling, so sneaker and streetwear quotation are more and more unstable, unlike just a few years ago. Whatever the future brings we will be here to witness. For now, let's enjoy this week releases.

Kith x Nike Air Maestro 2 High

The Kith x Nike Air Maestro are a revisitation of the popular basket sneakers from 1994. To fit into the modern aesthetic Ronnie Fieg and its team added some details like the zippers, a higher cut with straps and a swoosh on the toe. Since these sneakers are often related with NBA star Scottie Pippen, Kith and Nike decided to pay tribute to the NBA star player, releasing the Air Maestro 2 High in Purple Nubuck, related to his University years and the classic All-Star red colorway. The shoes will drop exclusively through Kith and will be available in their stores and website.

Mastermind Japan x adidas EQT 93-17 Boost Mid

Mastermind Japan is well known for iconic apparel and sneaker collabs. This time the Japanese cult brand will reinvent the EQT 93-17 Boots, as well as a Premium EQT Support Ultra. The sneakers will feature a premium suede paneling and the iconic skull logo. A collection of matching apparel will be released together with the shoes. The Mastermind x Adidas EQT collection will be released in selected adidas stores and online.

Palace x adidas O'Reardon

The classic three-striped skate shoes from 1996 are coming back for the first time thanks to the U.K. based brand. Palace Skateboarding is going to reissue these classic Low Sneakers in two colorways Navy Blue and Olive Green. The shoes will be available only at Palace locations and on their website.

Nike SF-AF1 "for Baltimore"

Nike pays homage to one of the most influential cities for the sneaker culture.

The shoe features a thumbled leather upper with a nylon compression strap on the ankle. The strap has a "Baltimore" lettering embroidery. There is also a tag attached to the strap with "84" on it. The meaning of this number is that in 1984 Nine was about to discontinue the AF1 until they knew how much they were popular in Baltimore. So Baltimore actually saved AF1 back then. The sneakers will also feature an exclusive packaging and will be available exclusively at DTLR in Modawmin Mall on Monument Street in Baltimore.
