How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
My everyday life has really changed, before I used to spend most of my time at University and I used to come back home only in the evening for dinner. Now instead I spend most of the time at home and I enjoy finding everyday new activities to do, for example I read the books I have never had the chance to read or I spend some time cooking or even cleaning and reconditioning shoes, a big passion of mine. I try to plan the future ahead or at least my ideas even if it is not easy being all the time at home. Last but not least I am dedicating myself to my thesis project.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
In my opinion the solution is to have always something to do, to not be lazy and to occupy every moment of your day, unless the lazy moment I want to take. Creativity can be found everywhere, every object for me - I study design - can be source of inspiration and also a way to get away with your mind. Many objects can be improved, and thinking about how to make objects more practical can be and exercise for your brain. Motivation is very important, you can be creative even when you cook or you wash the floor, it is all about how much you care in doing things.
What is your biggest fear right now?
Right now my biggest fear is to not coming back to normality soon.
What will you do once all of this is over?
I believe that there will be a lot of lifestyle changes, many companies will keep the smart-working solution, we will change the way to travel, cities will be less busy, human interactions will change as well so our behaviors.
