Fashion Graduate Italia presents “Speak Up” A new edition dedicated to young future professionals in the fashion world

From October 27 to 29, Fashion Graduate Italia returns, once again hosted by BASE Milano, opening its doors to the talents of the future. For its twelfth edition, the chosen theme is "Speak Up!", an invitation to the new generations to capture the vibrations of our time, transform them into art, and raise new questions within the fashion system. All of this will unfold through a packed programme of runway shows, talks, digital workshops and readings, portfolio reviews, and an exhibition space dedicated to projects by the best fashion students, who will thus contribute to the creation of a space where different identities and cultures meet and come together to give life to something new.
Taking part in the project are 19 of Italy's most renowned fashion academies and institutes, contributing to Fashion Graduate Italia's goal of providing new generations with an education rooted in culture as well as creative, design, and technical skills that maintain a connection with our country's production supply chain. The young students participating in the initiative, thanks to the intensive programme aimed at nurturing talent and supporting their entry into the working world, will be able to showcase the excellence of educational offerings at a local, national, and international level. Sections such as the portfolio review and the Talent to Talent format are designed to encourage the exchange of approaches, cultures, and design visions with academies from around the world.
In a statement, Matteo Secoli, President of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS, underlines the importance of the role played by institutions and businesses, which bear the responsibility of creating the conditions for talent to express itself, grow, and make an impact. Equally important to bear in mind is the role of schools, which have a duty to help cultivate independent thinking and solid skills. Fashion Graduate Italia demonstrates its confidence in the new generations through the space it continues to dedicate to their ideas. Support for making all of this possible comes from the Lombardy Region, with the patronage of the Tuscany Region and the City of Milan, and is also made possible thanks to the backing of LINEAPELLE, UNIC Concerie italiane, Confindustria Accessori Moda, CNA Federmoda, and UniCredit.
