Marco Russo and Alessio Fioriniello are two young authors who have recently presented with Panini Comics their debut graphic novel: Paris Fashion Slam. The volume is a scratchy satire on the world of fashion, imagined as a tyranny where the fashion shows have turned into battles to the death. Paris Fashion Slam will debut online on the publisher's official website and in selected bookshops and comic bookshelves on Thursday, February 27th. In the meantime, thanks to the barcode in the covers that you find in the gallery below you can access exclusive online content of the graphic novel.

The story of the graphic novel stars the shapely Alexis who finds herself dragged into the deadly Paris Fashion Slam, a fight to the death between skinny models that culminates with a deadly dive from the top of the Eiffel Tower. In the dystopian world in which the events are set food is forbidden as well as sizes greater than 38, in the female world violence dominates and the outfits are increasingly elaborate and aggressive. Alexis will find herself fighting the system and becoming the symbol of all unjustly marginalized women.

The graphic novel Paris Fashion Slam by Marco Russo and Alessio Fioriniello will be available online, and at selected bookstores and comic bookstores starting Thursday, February 27th.
