Avant Arte x Joshua Vides: Complexcon 2019 The artist will customize a skate deck wall consisting of a highly limited number of unique boards

The creations of Joshua Vides are among the most popular on the Internet. Even if you don't know him, you've certainly seen one of his works on social media: the American artist's technique consists in painting an object white and then outlining its features with thick black lines, making it look like a real-life comic. Now Vides is teaming up with the online platform for art collectibles Avant Arte to bring his customizations to ComplexCon Long Beach, the street culture festival organized by Pharrell Williams and Takashi Murakami that will be held in California on November 2nd and 3rd.

On the occasion of the event, the Los Angeles artist will cover an entire wall of skateboards that will be hand-painted and finished one by one. In addition, a limited edition of 300 skateboards signed by the artist will be released exclusively during the festival. On November 2nd, the first day of ComplexCon, participants will have the opportunity to meet the artist in person and get their items customized.

At the same time, the Avant Arte platform will also present the works of artists Michael Kagan, Joakim Ojanen, Sticky Monger and Javier Calleja. But ComplexCon is an event that includes much more, like exclusive releases, meetings and conferences and a concert line-up that will feature names like Kid Cudi, Lil' Kim and Anderson .Paak.
