inhabit #14 - David Doran

The "home" and the time

inhabit #14 - David Doran The home and the time

inhabit is back on nss magazine after the summer break with David Doran, the protagonist of inhabit #14. David tells us what does really "home" means to him: "a place where he has time".

David Doran

"Home is a place where I have time: time to draw in my sketchbook, time to play guitar, time to read magazines and time to make my way through a TV series with my wife. It feels as though all other areas of life are fairly high pressured, so time is one of the greatest gifts home gives. Our windows overlook Falmouth harbour, which has endless goings on, I never grow tired of looking out and finding inspiration for the day from it".

David Doran is an award winning illustrator based in Falmouth, UK.

From his studio by the water in Cornwall, UK, he works with international brands, magazines, newspapers, festivals, and publishers such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, Nespresso, BAFTA and Penguin Random House, creating illustrations of all shapes and sizes.
