The red in everyday life with On Vacation by Leonardo Scotti

Italian photographer Leonardo Scotti guides us on a visual journey in distant and near lands with his On Vacation project published on Edicola.

The fil rouge of the entire photographic series is the red, main theme of this third issue.

My work as a photographer comes first of all from my interest for photography in its essence, linked to a personal interest. What I've always done and from which I continue to get the utmost satisfaction is to travel and capture on film everything that captures my attention - when then I come home and develop the films I look like a child at Christmas! I have to admit that a few years ago I had a lot more time for these inspirational trips, but it still remains a fundamental part of my job.

If I should describe the pictures that attract me most, I should first emphasize my passion for saturated colors like red; the ability to see and create compositions already existing in reality and everyday life ... I like to document what is strange, bizarre.
