Nato nelle isole Canarie, Rayko è un produttore e dj profondamente influenzato da artisti e suoni degli anni '70 e '80 (soprattutto Disco, Boogie, Funk e Rock.)

Queste influenze lo ha portato a lanciare l'etichetta Rare Wiri nell'estate del 2008, ottenendo immediato successo con la sua prima release rendendola Record of the Week altamente considerata da Piccadilly Records.

Dal momento del suo lancio Rare Wiri ha avuto release provenienti da produttori di talento, tra i quali: Ilija Rudman, Ichisan, Phoreski, Marbeya Sound, Beatfanatic, Cosmonauts, Ilya Santana, per non parlare dello stesso Rayko.

Rayko ha un portfolio impressionante di release e di edit.

Come DJ, Rayko continua a conquistare il pubblico di tutto il mondo con il suo suono caratteristico. (Rio de Janeiro, Londra, Berlino, Stoccolma, Istanbul, Bucarest, Milano, Helsinki, Belgrado, Bruxelles, Parigi, Bratislava)

Le cose sembrano destinate a diventare ancora più interessanti con una serie di vinili e versioni digitali, remix e date internazionali in programma per i prossimi mesi.

Brodway di Rayko è stato annunciato come traccia numero uno del 2011 su Juno.

 

Born in the Canary Islands, Rayko is a producer and DJ deeply influenced by the artists and sounds of the 70's and 80's (mainly Disco, Boogie, Funk and Rock.)  

 

These influences led him to launch the label Rare Wiri in the summer of 2008, gaining immediate critical acclaim with it's first release making Record of the Week at Manchester's highly regarded Piccadilly Records.  

Since it's launch Rare Wiri has had releases from a stable of talented producers, these include Ilija Rudman, Ichisan, Phoreski, Marbeya Sound, Beatfanatic, Cosmonauts, Ilya Santana, not to mention Rayko himself. 

Rayko has an impressive portfolio of releases under his belt and has an almost insatiable thirst for editing both classics and lost gems in his distinctive and infectious style. 

As a DJ, Rayko continues to wow audiences around the globe with his trademark sound. (Rio de Janeiro, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Istanbul, Bucharest, Milan, Helsinki, Belgrade, Brussels, Paris, Bratislava)  

Things look set to get even crazier with a string of 12" and digital releases, remixes and international DJ bookings scheduled for the coming months.  

Rayko - Broadway was announced as the number one disco track of 2011 on Juno, deserved praise for an absolute belter of a tune.
