9. Customizzi i tuoi vestiti? Se si, come?
Amo customizzare i miei vestiti.

1. In your opinion what is style?
I think Style is all about the presence an individual emits about themselves. When someone is true to themselves and is comfortable outwardly expressing themselves they shine with a certain confidence, I think that's true style.

2. Which are the items that are always in your bag and that you don’t go out without?
I'm so hopeless when it even comes to carrying a bag, sometimes I like to be free without baggage and I'll just carry my keys, phone and wallet.  When I'm carrying my bag it always contains these things as well as my camera, sunscreen, lip gloss and there is a lumerian crystal that lives in the bottom of my bag that won't leave, I don't know why but I love having it with me.

3. Which are your favorite models?
Well for this question I actually think some of our Australian girls are amazing both on and off the catwalk.  I'm a massive supporter of Abbey Lee Kershaw, Bambi Northwood, Pania Rose, Zippora Seven and Jessica Heart, there's so many more but these girls come to the top of my head straight away.

4. Your perfect outfit for the morning.
This is an easy one, whether I like it or not my morning outfit usually consists of bikini's or in winter you can add a wetsuit.  I like to surf everyday weather permitting, it's what keeps me centred.

5. Your perfect outfit for the night.
Mmmm I found this a really tricky question because I think it depends where I'm going but I can imagine that on a night out to dinner I love a long sleeve floaty blouse, maybe something with poet sleeves and in a sheer fabric or with a plunging neckline, paired with leather pants.  Then to top it off a beautiful  scarf tied up in a turban style and for a bag I'd carry a vintage expandable metal coin pouch and very fine long chain.

6. In your opinion, which are the most important 2011 trends?
I think I found this the hardest question to answer because I see so many trends appearing that I love.  I think the first trend that will be prevalent to me will be sheer fabrics in maxi lengths.  I also think combining textures in one look will be an important trend, so fur, with sheer's  and leather.  I also think that knotting pieces to add drama is quite cool and I'm seen a little bit of that happening lately.

7. Who/ What inspires/inspired your style?
I am constantly inspired by so many things around me I'm  like a little kid in a candy store.  I love to travel and learn about other cultures and their belief systems and ceremonies.  I'm also inspired by nature the colours the textures, animals and landscapes.  Everyday things inspire me constantly such a person on the street, a random photograph, the lyrics of a song on the radio, other creative people.

8. If you had a basic black dress, how would you make it original and stylish?
I am a bit of an accessories fanatic so the first thing that I"d do would be to pair it with an amazing necklace, probably an extra long piece in brassy gold, and a chunky crystal ring, a magical clutch and a pair of Ellery Guillotine Crystal encrusted Lucite ankle boots.  Then if it was a little bit cool I'd add an oversized fur vest.

9. Do you customize your clothes? If yes, how do you do it?
I love to customise some of my clothes.  I really like to alter vintage pieces that I find and give them a new lease on life.  Some of my favourite alterations include a extra large silk egyptian hieroglyphic print mens shirt that I had the collar removed and the sleeves shortened to make the most amazing Kimono style robe.  I also really enjoy adding fringing to pieces and recently I bought a beautiful batik angle sleeve mini dress that I added studs and thai silver beadwork too, it was so satisfying and it came up looking really good.

10. Which are the items in your wish list now?
I was devasted to miss out on the  shimmery Ellery Bloodstone Extra Wide Flare Pants, my size sold out very quickly and they were a little on the expensive side so I procrastinated.  It's my goal to track a pair down now, I'm putting it out there to the universe.  I'm also on the endless search for a vintage hand tooled satchel bag, they seem to be few and far between.

11. Is there an item in your wardrobe that you are embarrassed about?
Well since I love Hand Tooled leather and I love wearing hats, one of my favourite things is a vintage hand tooled leather sun vizer.  I have an amazing Maison Martin Margiela cape that I will never part with and my Sass & Bide "The Wind" cowrie shell beaded crochet dress.

12. Why did you start writing on your blog?
I started my blog because as an artist I had all of this energy and inspiration inside me that doesn't really always get a chance to escape on canvas.  As part of my job I am always researching history, fashion, photography and pop culture and all of the inspiration I was exposed to was caught inside my head or in little note books.  It seemed like a very good idea to document all of this in the one space.  As the blog evolves I evolve too and I've also always really enjoyed styling and hand crafting DIY projects and so it's become a place for me to share this part of who I am as well as.
