Football Strip Concepts #5, by Angelo Trofa The fifth issue of the magazine by the London-based designer is the paradise of football kit's lovers

Football Strip Concepts was originally started as a personal project by the London-based designer Angelo Trofa to showcase concepts and act as a portfolio with the aim to get into the industry. Now Trofa just dropped the fifth issue of the magazine: 80 pages of articles, interviews, and insights about football kit and jersey design.

This issue features for the first time designs which have been brought to life, both in the real sense and virtual reality, having been approached by EA Sports to design kits for FIFA17 and FIFA18. This is also the first issue to feature full editorial pieces, with a range of articles from interviews and features which are all centered around the art of the football kit. In the issue - fo instance - there is an interview with 2006 Italy World Cup kit designer Rob Warner, another one with the famous illustrator Stan Chow as well as BeInSport commentator Address Cordero and Sheridan Bird. This issue also takes an in depth look at a football collective built up of artists changing the landscape of the underground football scene in Paris and the most interesting kit collector on Instagram.

Limited to 150 copies for sale, you can now purchase the fifth volume of Football Strip Concepts now on Trofa’s website for 15 euros plus shipment. Every issue comes with a High Definition Patch with Heat Seal technology produced by Avery Dennison RBIS.
