The Chinese brand 361° could become the new supplier for Brazil Surprisingly, the deal between the Carioca and Nike could end very soon

Surprisingly, but maybe not even that much, some new are coming from Brazil about the technical supply deal of the Verdeoro national team. According to the magazine Veja, in fact, the Chinese brand 361° (or 361 Degrees) could be interested in substituting Nike as the retailer for sports clothing for the Carioca, after dressing the staff and the volunteers during the 2016 Summer Olympics and Paralympics in Rio. It could be an incredible change, as Brazil and Nike have a long time relationship, started back in 1997 and set to expire after the 2018 World Cup.

On the existing contract between Brazil and Nike, though, lies the shadow of justice, as some deals made by former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell (former Nike man) and the president of Brazil football federation Ricardo Teixeira went under investigation by the FBI. According to the charges, Rosell used some of his acknowledges in Brazil to get profit from the television broadcasting of the Brazilian team, but there also are heavier charges, like corruption and money laundering.

361°, Chinese sports brand company founded in 2002, could take advantage of this context, as they want to become the major suppliers in Brazilian football (overcoming Nike) in ten years, even if they don't have any contracts with Brazilan teams yet. We shall see if 361 Degrees will be able to dress Neymar and his teammates, which could be a major step forward for their plans in Rio de Janeiro.
