Mitchell & Ness x Flight Club soccer capsule collection

In the last period, lots of football-inspired collections have bloomed, increasing their stability into the world of fashion and sportswear. The last to be announced was the Mitchell & Ness x Flight Club one, coming on April the 6th. The firsts, undisputed kings of throwback jerseys, and the seconds, world’s number one sneakers retailers, join for a collection strongly influenced by football.

The two brands created a custom kit, available in blue and black colorations. The collection is composed by a long-sleeved shirt with diamond pattern - typical of the retrò football shirts - with a red striking crest with the “FC” letters. On the back, there are the “Flight Club” writing and the number 05. The shorts are also very similar to classic football ones, just a little bit longer and equipped with pockets. A singularity of this capsule collection, its lookbook was photographed in the Big Apple by New York City FC’s defender Ethan White, and the model is his teammate, the Costa Rican Rodney Wallace.
