The Basketball's Disease

The God's hands The Basketball's Disease

A sleeping cat is not a story. A sleeping cat in a dog house it’s a story. Keeping in mind this Alfred Hitchcock quote I’m asking you: Do you believe in God? It seems like some time ago a God was born in New York, a human God. He used to play with the name Wells at the La Salle Academy in Manhattan, but once in college he had to register with his real name: God Shammgod. Probably we saw a God touching a basket ball and we never noticed that

In the high school he faced and humiliated Stephon Marbury, while during the Five-Star basketball Camp he was unleashed. The only one to even notice him was Pete Gillen, a real Brooklyn man who was coaching Providence at that time, and who’ve just won FIBA World Championship as assistant coach of Don Nelson.

He gave God the freedom to plays wherever he wants to, and God thanks him making everyone score, and signing a double-double every night. In a special night in March, God face Mike Bibby, his rivals in Syracuse. In that particular game he reproduced a special move from the Croatian Danko Cvjeticanin, that nobody had ever played in USA. Years later Ginobili and Irving will make this play famous with the name of “Shammgod Move”.

By the way, God lose that game, and after the missing in achieving NCAA Final Four, he tried to enter directly in the NBA, chose with the 45th pick by the Washington Wizards. Buy he will play just few games: a God who can’t find his place among the Gods.

He went then in China and never come back to the USA to play. But someone tells that was God to teach Kobe on how to dribble. If you want  became God, you better learn from the God.
