Recap of Kanye West's Saint Pablo Tour in 5 points From the “floating stage” to the rapper's hospitalization

In recent days Kanye West has given rise to much debate about himself. Well, in case the of Kanye West, the most outspoken rapper who is always in the spotlight (and in these days he has also filled his Instagram feed with images as a tribute to Maison Margiela), the fact comes as no surprise. But, recently his Saint Pablo Tour, which started the last August 25, has given rise to lots of discussions.

So, it's time to make a brief recap of Kanye West's tour's 5 most significant moments.

#1 Stage.

One of the best things about Kanye West's show surely was his “floating stage”, the platform hovering above the crowd over which the rapper performed. Also, this visual design has been the reason for some debates. During the show in Edmonton, Kanye West accused those who would have copied his idea of the hovering stage. “This the original, accept no imitations! You with the rap God right now. N****s be copying our shit bro. Stealin’ our shit, stealin’ our stages. Copying our shit one-to-one” the rapper stated, a claim that many people interpreted as a jab for Drake

But this is not the end. In fact, South African rapper Cassper Nyovest accused Kanye West of stealing the idea of the “floating stage” from his performance which took place a year ago.

#2 Kid Cudi.

During a gig in Los Angeles, Kanye West dedicated a song to his “brother”, Kid Cudi. In the middle of the show, the rapper has called on the crowd to sing so that Cudi could hear them. “So Cudi, he in rehab right now, but he got a #1 song on the radio and I want you to sing so he can hear it. Cudi, you hear them?” the rapper shouted to his fans. No doubt it was one of the most exciting moments of the tour.

But Kanye West wanted to do more. On November 19, the rapper brought Kid Cudi on stage, and he sang “Waves” along with him.

#3 Polemics.

We all know that Kanye West is famous in particular for his polemics in public, from his outburst at MTV VMAs to his rants on Twitter. Also during his tour Mister West, no fans have been exempt from his scathing monologues. Some days ago the rapper criticised some celebs like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Mark Zuckerberg and even Hillary Clinton. “Mark Zuckerberg, you wanna call me now? Do I got the vision, Mark Zuckerberg? Was you wrong? When I said I was $53m in debt and you didn’t call me, was you wrong? … You said you would help and you didn’t. Then you went to look for aliens” the rapper said to the audience, claiming also that Beyoncé only agreed to perform at MTV VMAs if she had the confirmation she won the award for Best Video of the Year.

After this rant and just three songs, Kanye West stopped the show, making his fans very angry.

#4 Donald Trump.

During his show in San Jose, Kanye West claimed he didn't vote during the last American presidential election, but, if he did, he would have gone for Donald Trump. “Ya’ll know that I didn’t vote, but if I would have voted, I would have voted Trump” and he added: "To black people, stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, OK? It's just a f*cking fact. We are a racist country”. Most of his fans didn't like his honesty and his ideas, and, right after that, many left the show.

#5 Cancelled dates.

Finally, the last updates about Saint Pablo Tour are about the cancellation of the last 22 dates . Until yesterday the reasons behind this decision were unknown, but today sources inside declared that the tour was cancelled because of Kanye West's physical and psychological conditions – he's also been recovered in a Los Angeles hospital. “He’s just exhausted," the source revealed to People magazine, adding: "He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both on his own line and the Adidas line. He’s a notorious workaholic, so balancing both that work — which is extremely important to him — and the rigors of the tour every night, it really wore him out”. We think that also his family and his beloved Kim Kardashian have played an important role in the decision.

In no time a lot of celebs, like Emile Hirsch, Marlon Wayans, Andy Lassner, Theophilus London and Rose McGowan, have started to send their love and support to Kanye West via Twitter. However, some other, well... haven't been so benevolent with the rapper.
