5 Things to know about the new Apple Watch Nike+ Runners' ultimate companion

Only yesterday we were announcing the launch of the iPhone 7 and today we are giving another news involving the unstoppable Cupertino giant. Apple has once again teamed up with Nike to create a brand new item that will soon become every runner's best mate: Apple Watch Nike+.

“Apple Watch is the ultimate device for a healthy life and we wanted to push it further to create the best smartwatch in the world for runners and athletes,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer. "We know runners – and we know many are looking for a device that gives them an easy, fun way to start running".

Here are the 5 things to know about the new Apple Watch Nike+ that will probably tempt you even more:

#1 It has a captivating design. The new watch will arrive in 4 different two-tones combinations (black/Volt, black/Cool Grey, Flat Silver/white and Flat Silver/Volt) and featuring a perforated band, that guarantees higher ventilation and freshness. With two watch faces perfectly matching Nike's style, the screen can be easily personalised.

#2 It features built-in GPS. Thanks to several apps that will measure the distance, your running pace, the weather and heart rate, you'll always have everything under control.

#3 It's perfect for immersions. Apple Watch Nike+ is water resistant 50 meters, so if you're running on the shore and you feel like having a post-run swim, or if you just want to dip in the pool, you will be totally free to enjoy it.

#4 It has the brightest display ever. Even under the glaring rays of the sun at noon you'll be able to easily check your metrics.

#5 It will motivate you through Nike+ Run Club. A real workout companion rather than a watch, thanks to the app Nike+ Run Club your watch will often send you notifications that will push you to be more constant with your running sessions. For example, you could get run reminders, alerts about the weather,  and even challenges from friends. Moreover, through shared run summaries, you will be sort of 'competing' with the other users and you could even get a virtual 'fist bump' if you placed first.

Apple Watch Nike+ will be available to order on Apple.com from today, with availability in late October.
