Everything you need to know about Grammy Awards 2017 Who won? Who performed? What happened?

If I say “Oscars of the music”, what do you think about? Yes, today we talk about the Grammy Awards 2017! The most important music award ceremony of the year took place yesterday at Staples Centre in Los Angeles and it was, needless to say, amazing as usual. The 59° Grammys edition will be remembered as the night in which Adele won five awards (Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year with “Hello”, Best Pop Solo  Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album), even beating the Queen Beyoncé (who won Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Music Video awards). Women has been the stars of this night, with prizes and shows that we will not very easily forget, but it was also a great moment for Chance The Rapper who was crowned as Best New Artist and won Best Rap Album with his “Coloring Book” and Best Rap Performance. But this edition will be also remembered for Beyoncé's performance, political messages sent during the night and, no less important, the Rihanna's diamonds-encrusted flask. So, let's look at the most exciting moments of this edition of Grammy Awards.

#1 Adele

The Queen of the night. She won five awards and has touched the audience with her emotional speech, in which she even paid tribute to her “rival” Beyoncé – “But I can’t possibly accept this award. And I’m very humbled and I’m very grateful and gracious. But my artist of my life is Beyoncé. Not only that, she performed a cover of “Fastlove” as homage to George Michael: visibly moved, she did the beginning wrongly, stopped the song, apologizing to the audiece, but she started again, doing a chilling performance.

#2 Beyoncé

She won “only” two awards, but Beyoncé was able to capture all the attentions of the audience by singing the two songs “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles”. The singer appeared on stage like a golden goddess, with her belly in plain view, making a suggestive performance.

#3 Lady Gaga and Metallica

Maybe the most unexpected show of the night that of the singer Lady Gaga with the most-famous metal band Metallica. A crazy performance who made the stage on fire literally.

#4 A Tribe Called Quest

The hip-hop group performed with Anderson. Paak, Busta Rhymes and Consequence, singing the songs “Movin' Backwards” and “We The People”. The music was an occasion to send political messages, in particular to “President Agent Orange”, as Busta said. The show ended with Q-Tip's slogan “Resist! Resist! Resist! Resist!”.

#5 Bruno Mars

With the band The Time, the singer paid a tribute to Prince by doing a medley of the deceased artist's hits. Purple lights and glam vibes for Bruno Mars's performance, which made people crazy.
