Sometimes, the chaotic streets of Milan can hide some authentic gems that may go unnoticed to the less sophisticated observer, dazzled by the sparkle of galleries' windows and the lure of luxury giants.

And that's exactly what we're talking about – a hidden treasure trove – when it comes the creations by Marley Alba, born in 1987 with Italo-German origin. More than just a designer, more than a seamstress, Marley Alba is a true artisan of fashion, an artist who creates just pursuing her own creative flow, crafting unique and inimitable pieces, following her creations step by step, from the idea to the paper pattern and finishing.

Marley Alba didn't study fashion, but a five-year-long experience between needles, threads, big rolls of fabrics and sewing machines, her sense of style had the chance to evolve and stand out for originality and uniqueness. Firmly believing in the importance of craftsmanship as a value to be preserved, Marley Alba is like no other emerging Milanese designer and her creations often cross boundaries of fashion and point to something more.

The capsule collection that we show you today in exclusive for the virtual pages of nss mag is a concoction of skriking, dynamic pieces, designed "for those who every day have to fight in the urban jungle." It comprises a series of extremely current items that wink to the grunge culture remake with a modern twist, grabbing much inspiration from the '90s, including cami dresses worn over shirts and sweatshirts with blackletter, bucket berets, camouflage and faux leather flames that spread over jeans and miniskirts. All strictly handmade.

Marley Alba's mission is just to embrace the concept of uniqueness more and more, crafting items like no other before, meticulously studied and designed ad hoc for her customers, models that can enhance and embellish their look with their perfect mixture of old and new.
