Endorsements and collaborations is what turned sneakers from a simple object of everyday use into a proper lifestyle. From sport stars to artists and from cult brands and designers to big fashion houses the power of mutual exchange of creativity and traction grows everyday. We could openly admit that this is what really keeps the market alive. A whole business based on sharing and making things together.

#1 Nike Air Vapormax "Oreo", "White/Blue", "Pale Grey" and "Asphalt"

What seems to be like an invasion, probably is. 4 new pairs of Vapormax are about to drop this week, for all those people who couldn't already manage to get a pair. "Oreo" and the Nike WMNS "White Blue" colorways will be released in limited quantity and are a Nike Lab exclusive. On the other side "Pale Grey" and "Asphalt" colorways will be more accessibile. From a construction point of view nothing has really changed from previous release.

#2 adidas x Pharrell Williams Tennis HU

The collaboration between Pharrell and adi already saw one of last year most hyped sneakers coming to life. This new drop have been highly anticipated and photos of samples and highlights have been circulating on the internet for a while. Now we have a name and a release date for this new Stan Smith-inspired Tennis Hu. The sneaker feature a mesh upper with then classic slip-on system we are recently getting used to. The colorway will affect the midsole and the heel panel that are available in Yellow or classic Stan-Smith-like Geeen.

#3 Neighborhood x Vans Authentic/Vans S8 Hi

After the very warm welcome the audience gave to the recent collaboration with Converse, the Japanese cult brand comes out with another sneaker collab. This time the inspiration is the Japanese BMX scene. The brand chose a classic BMX-related iconography for the SK8 HI with the alternation of black and red thumbs matched with suede paneling. Meanwhile the approach to Authentics is more classic with checkboards on both upper and midsole. Neighborhood x Vans Authentic and SK8 HI will be available in two colorways Back/White and Red/White.

#4 ASICS x Wood Wood Gel-DS

To celebrate its 15th birthday the Copenaghen-based brand is about to release a new sneaker in collaboration with ASICS. The GEL-DS silhouette comes from the mid '90; this is the reason why this collab is inspired by anther must of that period, CD's and CD players. The sneaker features a silver upper with red, blue and black hints. W-W branding has been placed on the tongue. The sneaker will be available in W-W. store in Copenaghen and ASICS store in Osaka only.
