The dandy boy Pictures by Tina Tyrell

It looks like the 70s met a young Oscar Wilde in the pictures shot by LA based photographer Tina Tyrell for Bon magazine with the styling of John Colver.

The artist deliberately chooses to go against every kind of minimalism, focusing her attention on floral prints, voluminous hair, optical or animalier jackets, basically subverting all the "normcore" trends which try to avoid as many frills and accessories as possible.

The assembly of these elements and the choice of a very refined subject with delicate and almost androgynous features, suggest an explicit return of the dandy. Snob, lazy, but most of all extremely elegant.
