Nicholas Max Scarpinato-Surrealism Today

Personalmente ho sempre preferito l'ispirazione all'informazione".

Usually we are surprised and astonished watching pictures or creations that likes first look lead us to ask: "How?".

Well, this is exactly the impression one gets looking at Nicholas Max Scarpinato's photographs.

Could be described as surreal, the manner of the paintings with landscapes in warm colors of Dali, or the incredible photographic compositions of Man Ray. They, in fact, convey not only energy, but can drag one who looks, into enchanted and absurds scenarios that the author skillfully manages to play in his shots.

There is something of unsettling and ambiguous, which does not detract, however, because softened by the warm colors and soft lights that make it simple and well structured his photos.

It's clear that now more than ever, to be a good photographer is not enough to have a camera, but need a good dose of talent and creativity, to be able to represent the inner meaning of what occurs in front the lens.

Man Ray would say: "Of course, there will always be those who look only to the technical and ask" how? "While others of a more curious, ask," why? ". Personally I have always preferred inspiration to information" .
